IT Training
We've had some training to update our snazzy website (what do you think?) and also made other online homes at bebo and facebook. We're also preparing to do some work in local schools and colleges and going on a recruitment drive before our next big project.
Madrid
We applied for funding from YOF and raised some money of our own, holding a fiesta and a sponsored lock-in, to go to Madrid in the summer.It wasn't just a holiday though, it was part of a cultural project and involved Spanish lessons, talking to young people in Spain and other stuff.
Internet Area
We applied for money from “money talks” to extend our internet area so we’ve got more computers for Young People in the area to use.
YOF Bonanza
We’re going to the YOF Bonanza to tell people about what we’ve done with the money from money talks. We paid for Spanish lessons, went to Madrid, organised the mish mash music festival, we got money for this website and expand our internet area. There will be workshops, food, live bands and a disco!
